UGC-NET June 2026 Admit Card Public Notice: Release Date, Exam Dates and Official Download Route

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC-NET June 2026 admit cards on 17 June 2026. Its public notice of the same date says the release covered candidates scheduled on 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 and 30 June 2026. Those exam dates had passed as of 9 October 2026. The evidence reviewed does not show whether admit-card downloads are still open today.

What the public notice says

The notice is titled "Release of Admit Card for UGC-NET June 2026". It is issued by NTA and dated 17 June 2026. Its main points are:

• NTA conducted UGC-NET June 2026 at different locations across the country.
• The admit cards were stated to have been "released today", that is, 17 June 2026.
• The release covered every exam date named in the notice.
• Candidates were told to download the admit card together with the undertaking and to read the instructions printed on it.

Release status as of 9 October 2026

Admit card, city slip and application status are different

The notice separates the admit card from the Advance City Intimation Slip. It says candidates had already been told their exam city and date through that slip, issued under a public notice dated 10 June 2026. The slip is not the admit card. The admit card is the document NTA asked candidates to download with the undertaking. An application status or a training letter would not substitute for it either.

Official download route

The notice directs candidates to the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, and says to use their login credentials. The notice is itself a public PDF on the documents page of that site. The evidence does not describe the individual login fields, so this page does not list step-by-step login instructions.

Undertaking and instructions

The notice says the admit card should be downloaded along with the undertaking. It also asks candidates to read the instructions on the admit card carefully. The notice does not itself list the printed instructions, so check the document you downloaded for them.

Help with download problems or incorrect details

For difficulty downloading the admit card, or for a discrepancy in the details printed on it, the notice names two contacts:

• NTA Helpdesk: 011-40759000
• Email: ugcnet@nta.ac.in

What the notice does not provide

• It gives no reporting time, shift timing, or exam-centre address.
• It does not list the documents to carry. Rely on the instructions printed on the admit card.
• It does not say how long the download window remained open.
