The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush, is recruiting one Young Professional (Media & Public Relations) for AIIA, New Delhi. Selection is through a walk-in interview on 6 October 2026 at 10:30 AM in the Committee Room of the Academic Block. As of 5 October 2026 (IST), the interview has not yet happened. It is scheduled for tomorrow.

Eligibility for the Young Professional post

Qualification and experience

  • Essential: a Master's degree in Journalism from a recognized university or institute.
  • Desirable: 5 to 10 years of relevant public relations experience, preferably in a Central Government organization, autonomous body or AYUSH institute.
  • Experience means post-qualification experience.

The notice lists the experience as desirable, not essential. It also says that meeting the minimum qualification and experience does not by itself guarantee selection.

Age limit

The maximum age is 40 years. The age is counted on the date of the interview, so 6 October 2026. The notice mentions no age relaxation and no category-wise rules, and this page does not assume any.

How to apply: walk-in interview process

  4. Report to the Committee Room of the Academic Block of AIIA by 10:30 AM on 6 October 2026. The notice says candidates reporting after 11:00 AM will not be considered.

Important contract conditions

  • No TA/DA is payable for attending the interview or for joining.
  • No allowance is paid beyond the fixed remuneration. Tax is deducted as per government instructions.
  • Working hours follow AIIA's working hours.
  • Leave is 1.5 days per calendar month. Absence beyond that leads to a pro-rata deduction.
  • The appointee cannot accept other assignments during the contract.
  • Selected candidates must join within a week of the offer of engagement.
  • Data and information gathered during the assignment cannot be disclosed without written consent. All records must be handed over at the end of the contract.
  • The engagement is governed by Ministry of Ayush guidelines for engaging Young Professionals (letter no. A-41020/4/2020-E-II dated 01.04.2026).
  • AIIA may amend or cancel the advertisement. Any change in date, time or venue will appear on the website only, with no separate advertisement.
