How to use these limits
- Find your exam and cycle. Rules change between notifications, so match the cycle to your advertisement number.
- Resize to the maximum KB. In the resizer, open Use exam requirements to load a verified preset, or enter the KB range yourself.
- Check the preview. Make sure your face or signature is clear at the final size before uploading.
Where a row says “not yet verified”, the official documents disagree or are incomplete. Follow the instruction on your exam’s current application portal instead of guessing. Live photographs are taken inside the portal and cannot be replaced by an uploaded file.
Common questions
Is 1 KB 1,000 or 1,024 bytes?
The resizer uses 1 KB = 1,024 bytes. Aim slightly below the maximum, for example 48 KB for a 50 KB limit, so that rounding differences cannot push a file over.
Do I need exact pixel dimensions?
Only where a notice states a minimum or preferred size; this table shows those values. Many exams set KB limits and leave dimensions flexible.
