About the Notification
The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) invites applications for the selection of Apprentice Trainees (Degree and Diploma) in various technical and specialized departments for a period of one calendar year starting from January 2016. This apprenticeship is conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Apprentices Rules, 1992 (as amended), with the assistance of the Board of Practical Training (Government of India). The apprentices shall abide by rules and conduct themselves as trainees, not workers. A total of 100 apprentices will be selected with reservation ratio of 75% General, 20% SC, and 5% ST.
