On this page
Bank of Baroda (BoB) is recruiting Wealth Executive and Credit Analyst-C&IC professionals on a regular (permanent) basis under Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/17 dated 4 September 2026. This is not an apprenticeship. A summary of the advertisement puts the total at 1,100 posts. As of 2 October 2026, the extended deadline of 1 October 2026, 23:59 has passed. We found no evidence of a further extension, so check the bank's careers page before assuming the window is open.
Quick answer: employer, posts and application status
- Employer: Bank of Baroda, Wealth Management Services Department (Wealth Executive) and Corporate & Institutional Credit (Credit Analyst-C&IC).
- Posts: Wealth Executive (JMG/S-I) and Credit Analyst-C&IC (MMG/S-II).
- Type of job: regular recruitment of professionals, with a 12-month probation and a service bond according to the secondary summary.
- Mode: online application and online fee payment.
- Status on 2 October 2026: the last date to apply and pay, as extended by the bank's addendum, was 1 October 2026 and has ended.
What changed: the official addendum
The bank's addendum is dated 17 September 2026 and signed by the Chief General Manager (HRM & Marketing). It made two changes and left all other terms of the advertisement unchanged.
Extended last date
The deadline for the online application and fee payment was extended to 1 October 2026 (23:59 hours). A third-party summary written before the addendum still shows 24 September 2026, which is outdated. The official addendum takes precedence.
Revised Wealth Executive experience criterion
The requirement is still a minimum of 2 years of experience, but it now covers more kinds of work and employers:
| Aspect | Original wording | Revised wording |
|---|---|---|
| Type of work | Sales of wealth products | Sales/distribution of wealth products or insurance products |
| Employers listed | Public, private and foreign banks; broking/securities firms; asset management companies; wealth management companies in India | Same list, with NBFCs and insurance companies added |
Vacancies
The figures below come from a secondary summary of the advertisement. We did not have the full official advertisement text, so check the vacancy table in the notice itself. The summary also says the bank may revise vacancy numbers.
| Post | Scale | Total | SC | ST | OBC | EWS | UR |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wealth Executive | JMG/S-I | 1,000 | 150 | 75 | 270 | 100 | 405 |
| Credit Analyst-C&IC | MMG/S-II | 100 | 15 | 8 | 27 | 10 | 40 |
The same summary lists horizontal PwBD reservation within these totals: 40 for Wealth Executive and 4 for Credit Analyst-C&IC.
Eligibility as reported
These details are from the secondary summary, except the revised Wealth Executive experience rule above. Both posts need prior experience, so this drive is aimed at lateral hires rather than fresh graduates.
Wealth Executive (JMG/S-I)
- Graduation in any discipline.
- One of these certifications: IC 38, NISM Series V-A, NISM Series XXI-A or NISM Series V-D.
- A management PG degree/diploma or an MBA in Finance, Marketing or Banking is reported as preferred, not mandatory.
- Experience as per the revised criterion above.
- Age 22 to 32 years as on 1 September 2026.
Credit Analyst-C&IC (MMG/S-II)
- Graduation in any discipline plus a Chartered Accountant qualification.
- At least 1 year of banking experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank. Corporate credit experience is reported as an added advantage.
- Age 21 to 33 years as on 1 September 2026.
Age relaxation and experience counting
The summary reports 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer). It also lists PwBD relaxation of 10/13/15 years by category group and ex-servicemen relaxation of 5/8/10 years. It adds that post-qualification experience of under 6 months with a single organisation (unless it is the current employer) and clerical-role experience do not count. Read the exact wording in the official notice before relying on any of this.
Application fee
- General/EWS/OBC: ₹850 including GST, plus payment gateway charges.
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women: ₹175 including GST, plus payment gateway charges.
The summary describes the fee as non-refundable. Fees are as reported in the secondary summary, not checked against the full notice.
Pay, probation and service bond
The summary lists these pay scales under the public sector bank officers' bipartite settlement, along with allowances as per bank policy:
- JMG/S-I: ₹48,480–2,000/7–62,480–2,340/2–67,160–2,680/7–85,920.
- MMG/S-II: ₹64,820–2,340/1–67,160–2,680/10–93,960.
Probation is reported as 12 months. The reported service bond is 3 years, or an amount equal to 3 months' gross salary if the officer leaves early. The cap is ₹2 lakh for JMG/S-I and ₹3 lakh for MMG/S-II. We have not repeated the in-hand salary estimates from that page, because they are the site's own approximations and not official figures.
Selection process
The secondary summary describes three stages:
- Application scrutiny against the eligibility criteria.
- An online test, only if the bank decides to conduct one. The tentative pattern is 120 questions for 120 marks in 120 minutes: English, Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude, General/Economic & Banking Awareness, and Professional Knowledge (60 questions). Negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer is reported.
- Psychometric test and/or group discussion/personal interview, possibly in more than one round.
Admit card and result dates were listed as "to be announced" in the summary. No later schedule was available to us.
How applications were made
- Go to the bank's website, then Career, then Current Opportunities, and register.
- Complete the online form so that it matches your ID proof.
- Upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the specified formats.
- Upload supporting documents such as proof of date of birth, qualification and certification documents, and experience proof.
- Pay the fee online and save a copy of the submitted application.
Applications were reported to have opened on 4 September 2026. The bank's official advertisement is available as a PDF on the Bank of Baroda site, and the extension is in the official addendum.
What to do now
- If you applied before the deadline, keep your application copy and fee receipt, and watch the bank's careers page for test or interview announcements.
- If you did not apply, the available evidence shows the window ended on 1 October 2026. Check the official careers page for any later notice.
- Compare any figure in this summary with the official advertisement before acting on it.
Evidence limits
The addendum is official, and it is the only official text we had. Vacancies, eligibility, fees, pay, the bond and selection details come from a secondary page that says it follows the official notification. We could not check them against the full advertisement, so treat them as reported.
FAQs
Is this an apprenticeship?
No. The addendum describes recruitment of professionals on a regular basis.
Can I still apply?
The extended last date was 1 October 2026 at 23:59. As of 2 October 2026 that date has passed, and we found no evidence of a further extension.
Did the Credit Analyst eligibility change?
The addendum only revises the Wealth Executive experience criterion. It states that all other terms of the advertisement remain unchanged.
