About the Notification
The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the Common Recruitment Examination for various Group-A and Group-B Gazetted (Technical) posts for the year 2026 (Part-II). This recruitment invites eligible candidates who are permanent residents and belong to the Scheduled Tribes of Arunachal Pradesh to apply online for a total of 37 vacancies across Finance & Accounts Officer, Sub-Treasury Officer, Assistant Director (Prosecution), and Assistant Public Prosecutor posts.
Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age: 35 years as on 12th October 2026 Age relaxations:
5 years relaxation for Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) candidates
15 years relaxation for APST PwBD candidates
Relaxation as per government rules for regular state government employees

Assistant Director (Prosecution)
Bachelor of Law degree with minimum 7 years active practice in criminal courts or experience as Magistrate of First Class.
Assistant Public Prosecutor
Bachelor of Law degree with minimum 7 years experience in criminal law practice.

Selection Process
Candidates must first appear in a Screening Recruitment Test (Objective Type).
Then they appear in Written Examination, consisting of four parts: General English & General Studies (Objective), Subject Paper-I (Descriptive), Subject Paper-II (Descriptive), totaling 500 marks.
Minimum aggregate 33% marks required to qualify for viva-voce with minimum 20% in each paper (lower thresholds for PwBD).
Qualified candidates appear for viva-voce (interview).
How to Apply
Candidates must register once through the APPSC portal https://appsc.gov.in (One Time Registration).
Registered candidates can log in to fill out the application form.
Application form must be completed and submitted latest by 12th October 2026, 5 PM.
If multiple applications are submitted, only the one with the highest Registration ID will be accepted.
