The Kolkata City NUHM Society has announced a contractual recruitment for the post of Community Health Assistant (Urban) solely for female candidates. These positions will serve in urban primary health centers within Kolkata city.

Age Limit

As on 1st January 2022, applicants must be at least 21 years old and at most 40 years old. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill one of the following:

ANM course completed from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and registered with the West Bengal Nursing Council.
GNM course completed from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and registered with the West Bengal Nursing Council.

Additionally, proficiency in Bengali and permanent residency in the applied district is required.

Pay Scale

Monthly remuneration is ₹13,000 (thirteen thousand only).

Selection Process

A panel will be prepared based on marks obtained in ANM/GNM examinations.
Candidates will be selected from the panel to fill vacancies as they arise.

How to Apply

Fill out the application form accurately with personal details such as name, guardian's name, date of birth, and age.
Attach the required documents (identity proof, age proof, permanent residence, caste certificate, marksheets, and registration certificates) duly self-attested.
Seal the completed application form in an envelope addressed to Chief Municipal Health Officer/Secretary, Kolkata City NUHM Society, CMO Bldg, 5, S.N. Banerjee Road, Kolkata - 700013.
Submit the sealed envelope in the drop box located at room number 254 on the 2nd floor of the CMO building.
Application submission period is from August 10 to August 20, 2022.
Application timings are 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Saturday).
Applications sent via post or courier will not be accepted. No applications will be accepted after August 20, 2022.

Required Documents

Photo identity proof (Passport, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, or PAN Card)
Proof of permanent residency in the district (Voter ID or Ration Card) attested by a Gazetted Officer or Group 'A' Officer.
Age proof certificate such as Madhyamik admit card or school leaving certificate.
Caste certificate if applicable, specifying OBC-A or OBC-B category; otherwise, candidate will be treated under unreserved category.
Mark sheets and passing certificates of Madhyamik and ANM/GNM examination.
Self-attested copy of the ANM/GNM Registration Certificate.
