About the Notification
Kolkata City NUHM Society invites applications for 100 contractual posts of Laboratory Technician. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with science subjects or equivalent, along with a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology recognized by West Bengal State Medical Faculty/AICTE. Candidates must have proficiency in computers including MS Office and Internet. Age limit is 40 years as of 01.01.2017 with relaxations as per government norms. Selection will be based on merit and practical examination. Vacancies are reserved across various categories.

Age Limit
Age limit is 40 years as on 01.01.2017. Age relaxations will be allowed as per Government norms for ST/SC/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD candidates.
Educational Qualifications
Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Science or equivalent. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology recognized by West Bengal State Medical Faculty/AICTE. Computer literacy including MS Office and Internet proficiency is required.

Pay Scale
Monthly remuneration: ₹9,380/-
Selection Process
- Merit list based on marks obtained in final eligibility qualification.
- Computer test (part of practical test) requiring minimum 40% marks to qualify.
- Panel for recruitment will be prepared based on merit and computer test scores.
