Age Limit
Maximum age for Laboratory Technicians is 62 years. Age and pay for Medical Officer and Senior Medical Officer are as per CTD guidelines.
Educational Qualification
- Laboratory Technician: Intermediate (10+2) and Diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent. 1 year experience in RNTCP or sputum smear microscopy required; higher qualification candidates preferred.
- Medical Officer (RNTCP), Medical College: MBBS or equivalent recognized by Medical Council of India, completed compulsory rotatory internship; Diploma/MD Public Health/Community Medicine/TB & Chest Diseases/CHA; 1 year experience in RNTCP; basic computer knowledge.
- Senior Medical Officer - DRTB Centre: MBBS or equivalent degree; MD Respiratory Medicine/Internal Medicine/DTCD/MD Community Medicine/Diploma/CHA/Masters in Public Health; basic computer knowledge.

- Laboratory Technicians: Rs. 16,860 per month
- Medical Officer and Senior Medical Officer: As per CTD guidelines
Selection Process
- Verification of documents and eligibility
- Evaluation based on essential and preferential qualifications and experience; formation of panel at ratio 1:5
- Walk-in interview on scheduled dates
