Short answer: this CTET notice is not an answer key, so it is neither provisional nor final. It is a public notice dated 1 April 2026 from the CTET Unit of CBSE. It explains how candidates who appeared in CTET February 2026 could request a calculation sheet together with a copy of their OMR sheet. The notice gives a fee of Rs 500 and a last date of 1 May 2026. As of 2 October 2026 that date has passed, and the evidence does not show any extension.

What the notice is, and what it is not

The notice (reference no. CBSE/CTET/February-2026, original release date 1 April 2026) deals only with obtaining a calculation sheet and OMR copy on request. Its text does not mention:

  • an answer key of any kind;
  • an objection or key-challenge window;
  • an objection fee.

The Rs 500 fee applies only to the calculation sheet with OMR copy request. It should not be read as an answer-key objection fee. No objection procedure for a final key is described here, and none should be assumed.

How the request was to be made

Payment

The fee was to be paid by bank draft in favour of Secretary, CBSE, payable at Delhi, issued by any scheduled bank. Candidates were told to write their roll number and name on the back of the draft.

Application and delivery

  • The application had to state the candidate's roll number, name and address correctly.
  • It was to be addressed to the Director (CTET), with the bank draft, and sent by speed post or by hand to the CTET Unit, CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Sector-23, Phase-1, Dwarka, New Delhi-110077.
  • The calculation sheet with OMR copy would be sent to the candidate by speed post only.

Candidates who had applied earlier

Candidates who had already applied under the RTI Act, 2005 or otherwise were asked to apply afresh with the Rs 500 fee before the stated date.

Conditions and limits in the notice

  • The calculation sheet and OMR copy will not be given to any institution or school for display, commercial purposes or print media.
  • Applications submitted on behalf of a candidate, and incomplete applications, would be summarily rejected.
  • Requests received after 1 May 2026 would not be entertained under any circumstances.
  • The decision of the Board's competent authority is final and binding on candidates.

What to do now

Because the 1 May 2026 date has passed, this notice cannot be treated as an open application route. The evidence does not show whether CBSE reopened the facility or how a candidate should seek the documents now. Check the official CTET website or contact the CTET Unit using the contact details in the notice. The notice also says nothing about how to view an answer key, so this page does not describe any.
