About the Notification
The Education Department of Kolkata Municipal Corporation invites applications for the temporary engagement of 100 Contractual Teachers in various KMCP schools. The engagement is for six months with a possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance. Candidates should have at least 50% marks in aggregate in any stream of Higher Secondary (10+2) or hold a graduate degree from a UGC approved university. Preference will be given to candidates residing within KMC jurisdiction who have completed a six-month Computer Education Certificate from an AICTE approved institution.

Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 37 years as on 01/01/2017. Age relaxation as per government norms for different categories.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks in any stream of Higher Secondary (10+2) or a graduate degree from any UGC approved university. Preference given to residents within KMC area possessing a six-month Computer Education Certificate from AICTE approved institutions.

How to Apply
- Download or obtain the application form from the Education Department, 1, Hogg Street, 2nd Floor, Kolkata-700087.
- Fill the application form properly and attach relevant documents.
- Attach a self-addressed postcard for application acknowledgment.
- Submit the application between 01/04/2017 and 17/04/2017 from 12 noon to 4 PM on working days, and up to 2 PM on Saturdays.
