About the Notification

The Border Security Force (Air Wing), under Ministry of Home Affairs, invites applications for Group 'B' and 'C' combatised posts on deputation, absorption and re-employment basis. Candidates from Central/State Governments, PSUs, and Ex-Servicemen with required qualifications and flying experience can apply. Recruitment for vacancies will continue up to one year from the date of publication.

Age Limit

Maximum age limit is 52 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation as per central government rules applies.

Educational Qualifications

Senior Flight Engineer: 5 years relevant experience and specified flying hours on multi-engine aircraft or helicopters.
Senior Flight Gunner: Required flying hours and medical fitness.
Junior Flight Engineer: 3 years Diploma recognized by DGCA or Group 'X' diploma from Indian Air Force and relevant flying experience.
Assistant Aircraft Mechanic: 3 years Diploma in relevant trade and aviation experience.
Constable (Maintenance): 10+2 pass preferably in Science stream.

Junior Flight Engineer and Gunner: Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 - Rs. 1,12,400)
Assistant Mechanic and Radio Mechanic: Pay Matrix Level-5 (Rs. 29,200 - Rs. 92,300)
Constable (Maintenance): Pay Matrix Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 - Rs. 69,100)
