About the Notification

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a Central Public Sector Enterprise governed by the Government of India, invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for Fixed Term Appointment as General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) at the Tarapur Maharashtra Site. The appointment is for one year or until regular personnel are selected, whichever is earlier. The consolidated monthly remuneration including HRA is fixed at Rs. 1,27,000/-.

Age Limit

Maximum age is 35 years as on the date of notification. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules applies. If eligible for multiple categories, cumulative relaxation up to a maximum of 56 years is allowed. SC/ST/OBC/EWS category candidates may apply for unreserved vacancies but shall not avail any relaxation in such applications.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized university along with a relevant post-graduate diploma such as DRM or equivalent, OR MBBS plus one year post-qualification relevant experience. Mandatory internship period will not be counted as experience.

Selection Process

1. Final selection will be based solely on the Personal Interview consisting of 100 marks, with a qualifying standard of 70% for Unreserved (UR) category.
2. In case of tie in marks, candidate senior in age will be given preference.

2. Appear for Walk-in-Interview with original and self-attested documents at Anuashram Guest House, Tarapur Maharashtra Site, on 4th September 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
3. No registration will be accepted after 12:00 PM.
