Gujarat High Court Librarian Recruitment 2026: 30 Posts

Advertisement RC/B/1458/2026 offers 29 Librarian posts in the District Judiciary and one Librarian cum Research Assistant post in Industrial/Labour Courts. Pay is ₹25,500–81,100 plus allowances.

Dates and eligibility

Online applications run from 1 October 2026, noon, to 20 October 2026, 11:59 PM. Eligibility is assessed on the closing date: Library and Information Science degree or equivalent, two years’ library experience after the degree, the prescribed computer certificate, and English/Gujarati/Hindi knowledge. A law degree is preferred.

Age and fees

Age is 21–37. Women receive five years’ relaxation, PwBD ten; ex-servicemen and State Government employees have specified service-based rules. The overall relaxed ceiling is 45. Category membership alone does not create an age concession here.

Eligible SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/ex-servicemen/PwBD candidates pay ₹750 plus bank charges, subject to the notice’s Gujarat-issued certificate requirements; others ₹1,500 plus charges.

Selection and application
