About Notification
Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) is conducting a special recruitment drive for Apprentice Trainees for the year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). The recruitment is open for Engineering Graduates/Diploma holders and General stream Graduates who passed between 2021 to 2025 in various streams like Civil, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering.

Age Limit
Minimum age: 18 years, Maximum age: 25 years as on 2026-01-01 (DOB between 2001-01-01 and 2008-01-01).
Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates upon submission of valid documents.
Educational Qualification
Category I - Graduate Apprentices: BE/B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering from AICTE recognized university.
Category II - Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering from recognized university or technical board.
Category III - Graduate Apprentices (General Stream): Degree in BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, Bachelor of Management Science, Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication, or related fields from recognized university.
Application Fee

Pay Scale
Graduate Apprentices stipend: Rs.6150/- per month (Government share).

Selection Process
- Merit list prepared based on aggregate marks of all years without rounding off.
- If marks are equal, older candidate preferred, then matriculation pass date considered.
- Preference given first to land loser candidates of Konkan Railway Project, then candidates from KRCL jurisdiction districts.
