About the Notification

The CSIR-Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB) invites online applications for 2 vacant posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) on direct recruitment basis. Candidates must have passed SSC/10th standard with an upper age limit of 25 years, relaxations as applicable. The posts involve duties such as maintenance of office records, carrying files, photocopying, delivering dak, helping in research activities, garden maintenance, vehicle log maintenance, and other related tasks.

Age Limit

Upper age limit is 25 years for General category candidates. Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates get a relaxation of 5 years. Minimum age is 18 years. Further relaxations as per Government of India/CSIR rules.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed SSC/10th standard or equivalent qualification recognized by the concerned board/institute.

Application Fees

Pay Scale

Pay Level: 1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900). Approximate gross monthly emoluments including HRA in Delhi ~ ₹36,360/-.

Selection Process

1. Candidates will appear for an OMR-based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination.
2. Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes with 100 questions.
3. Question Papers in Hindi and English (except English language section).
4. Subjects: General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language.
5. Negative marking for wrong answers.
6. Final merit list will be prepared on performance in this examination.
