Age Limit
The maximum age for Deputy Registrar is 50 years and for Assistant Registrar is 40 years. Age relaxations as per government rules apply. Employees with minimum 3 years service at IIT Mandi are eligible for age relaxation up to 50 years.
Educational Qualification
Deputy Registrar: Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent UGC Grade 'B' from a recognized university. 9 years experience as Assistant Professor at Academic Pay Level 10 and above with 5 years administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent. Desirable qualifications include Management, Engineering, Law, or Chartered/Cost Accountant qualifications.
Assistant Registrar: Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent UGC Grade 'B'. 5 years service experience as Superintendent at pay level 7 or equivalent. Desirable qualifications include Management, Engineering, Law, or Chartered/Cost Accountant qualifications.
