About the Notification
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna company under the Ministry of Defence, invites applications for the permanent position of Probationary Legal Officer (E-II) at its Bengaluru Complex Central Services Division. Age Limit
- Upper age limit for General (UR) category is 45 years as on 01.07.2026
- 10 years relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
- Age relaxation as per government norms for Ex-Servicemen
Educational Qualification
Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB/BL) from a recognized Indian university. First class for General candidates, pass class for PwBD candidates. Candidates with CGPA or credit system must provide the conversion formula according to their university norms.

Pay Scale
Basic pay: ₹40,000 with 3% annual increment up to ₹1,40,000
Other allowances include Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of annual basic pay as perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Life Insurance, Medical reimbursement, Provident Fund, NPS, Gratuity as per company rules.
Selection Process
- Written Test (85 marks)
- Interview (15 marks)
Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General candidates and 30% for PwBD candidates in both written test and interview separately. Selection is based on combined performance. The written test venue is Bengaluru only.
