About the Notification

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) invites applications from superannuated or soon-to-be superannuated government officers for the position of Hearing Officer on a re-employment basis. The selected candidates will be placed on a panel to be offered appointments as and when vacancies arise. Applicants must have held a post equivalent to Deputy Secretary or above rank in the State Government and must be below 62 years of age as on January 1, 2018. Eligible candidates from All India Service, West Bengal Civil Service (Executive), West Bengal Judicial/Higher Judicial Service, and Group-A officers of Allied Services under WBCS are encouraged to apply.

Age Limit

The maximum age as on 1st January 2018 is 62 years. Age relaxation will follow government rules.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have previously held a post equivalent to Deputy Secretary or higher in the State Government. Experience in duties at or above the Deputy Secretary level is mandatory.

How to Apply

  1. Candidates should apply with an application addressed to the Municipal Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
  2. Submit bio-data as per the prescribed format, photocopy of photo identity proof, two attested recent passport size photographs along with attested copies of all testimonials/documents.
  3. Applications must be sent in a sealed envelope, superscribing the name of the post applied for.
  4. Send to Chief Manager (Personnel), Personnel Department, KMC, 1st Floor, Room No. 146, 5, S.N. Banerjee Road, Kolkata-700013.
  5. Last date of application is 20th November 2018. Late applications will not be entertained.
