Education and typing qualifications

The notice accepts Karnataka II PUC, a three-year Diploma in Commercial Practice, or the equivalents it lists. It also specifies Senior Grade Kannada and English typewriting qualifications or the stated Secretarial Practice alternative, with computer knowledge. Age, fees and selection

The minimum age is 18. The listed upper limits are 40 for general candidates, 43 for categories 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B, and 45 for SC, ST and Category 1, subject to the notice’s conditions and relaxations.

The fee is ₹300 for general candidates and ₹150 for categories 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B. SC, ST, Category 1 and candidates with disabilities are exempt. Selection considers qualifying-examination marks, a typing skill test and interview.
