About the Notification
The Income Tax Department of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Region invites applications for recruitment of Canteen Attendant posts (Group 'C', Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in its Non-Statutory Departmental Canteens. Age Limit
Age should be between 18 and 25 years as of 31-08-2026. Age relaxations applicable:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service
- Central Government civilian employees: up to 40 years
Educational Qualification
Candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th Standard) or equivalent from any recognized board by cutoff date.
Application Fee
No application fee is required for any category.
Pay Scale
Basic pay of Rs. 18,000/- to Rs. 56,900/- as per 7th CPC Pay Level 1.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on percentage of marks in Matriculation followed by written exam.
- Written Exam: 30 minutes, 40 multiple choice questions on English, Hindi, Food and Nutrition, Aptitude, Hygiene.
- Top 70 candidates shortlisted for Skill Test.
- Final merit list prepared on combined marks of Written Exam and Skill Test.
- Document Verification for selected candidates.
