The Indian Council of Medical Research - National Institute of Health Research (ICMR-NIHR), Gorakhpur, a reputed research organization under the Government of India, invites applications for contractual engagement of Consultant (Administrative) and Young Professional-II posts. These are purely temporary and contractual positions intended to support research and institutional activities.

Age Limit

For Consultant post: 40 to 60 years; for retired Government employees up to 70 years. For Young Professional-II posts: up to 35 years. Age relaxations as per ICMR/Government rules.

Educational Qualifications

• Consultant (Administrative): Postgraduate degree in relevant fields like Management/Public Administration or retired Government employees with Bachelor's degree and experience in pay level 7 or above.
• Young Professional-II (Scientific): Postgraduates in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Statistics, Social Work, Sociology, BAMS, BSMS, AYUSH MD with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Young Professional-II (Administrative): Postgraduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks and 3 years relevant experience; computer and IT skills preferred.
• Young Professional-II (Finance & Accounts): M.Com/MBA (55% min) or CA(Inter)/ICWA(Inter)/CS(Inter) with 3 years experience; IT skills preferred.

Pay Scale

• Consultant (Administrative): ₹80,000 to ₹1,20,000 per month consolidated remuneration.
• Young Professional-II: ₹42,000 per month consolidated remuneration.
• Special provisions for retired government employees as per Ministry of Finance notifications.

Selection Process

2. Interview conducted at Gorakhpur.
3. Selection based on qualification, experience, and performance in the interview.
