About the Notification
Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has released Employment Notification No. CO/P-R/02/2026 for the recruitment of various Group C and erstwhile Group D posts such as Junior Engineer (Civil and Mechanical), Senior Section Engineer (S&T and Mechanical), Track Maintainer, Section Controller, Station Master, Commercial Supervisor, Assistant Loco Pilot, and others totaling 201 vacancies. Age Limit
The age limit for Group C posts is 18 to 36 years and for erstwhile Group D post (Track Maintainer) is 18 to 45 years, as reckoned on 01/08/2026. Upper age relaxations are applicable as per government rules for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), Ex-Servicemen, PwBDs, and serving KRCL employees with specific relaxations outlined for each category.
Educational Qualifications
Educational qualifications vary per post and are detailed in Annexure-A of the notification. Generally, diplomas or relevant certificates in engineering or technical trades are required. Final year candidates may also apply but must provide credentials at document verification.
