About the Notification
Applications are invited to fill 17 Class IV vacancies in the District Courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir UT. The posts include Process Server and Orderly/Chowkidar. Applications are to be submitted offline on the prescribed form. Selection will be through interview/Viva Voce.

Educational Qualification
- Process Server: Passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
- Orderly, Chowkidar: Passed 10th standard from a recognized board.
Application Fee
A fee of ₹300/- (three hundred rupees) is to be paid by candidates through Demand Draft favoring Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar from J&K Bank Ltd.
Pay Scale
- Process Server: Pay level 19900-63100
- Orderly, Chowkidar: Pay level 14800-47100
Selection Process
- Based on merit in interview/Viva Voce only.
How to Apply
- Collect application form from the office of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar from 24 August 2026 onwards.
- Alternatively, download the form from the official website https://srinagar.dcourts.gov.in.
- Fill the application form and enclose self-attested copies of all required documents.
- Attach a Demand Draft of ₹300/- as application fee.
- Submit the application form in person to the office by 22 September 2026. Applications by registered post or any other mode will not be accepted.
