About the Notification
The Health Department of Kolkata Municipal Corporation invites applications for the post of Honorary Health Workers (HHW) for 118 female candidates only. Eligible applicants must be married, widowed, or divorced women residing within Kolkata Municipal Corporation limits. The employment is contractual initially for one year, extendable subject to performance. Monthly honorarium is ₹4500.

Age Limit
Applicants must be between 30 to 40 years as of 01-01-2024. For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates, the minimum age limit is relaxed to 22 years. Maximum age is 40 years.
Educational Qualification
Minimum qualification is Madhyamik (Secondary) pass or equivalent. Candidates with higher qualifications are eligible but only marks obtained in Madhyamik or equivalent will be considered for selection. Aggregate marks of all subjects excluding additional paper will be counted.
Application Fee
No application fee is required.
Pay Scale
Monthly honorarium of ₹4500/- will be paid.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:10 based on Madhyamik (Secondary) marks for each vacancy.
- Selection weightage is 90% marks in Madhyamik exam and 10% marks in interview.
- Final merit list will be prepared based on combined total marks.
- An additional panel of 10% candidates will be maintained for future vacancies.

- Create a User ID and Password or log in via mobile number and OTP.
- From left menu bar, click "Recruitment" then select "Emp. Notice".
- Fill in the application form and upload necessary documents.
- Submit the application and print the filled form.

- Age proof (Madhyamik admit card or pass certificate)
- Residential proof (Aadhaar card/Voter ID/Ration card)
- Madhyamik or equivalent mark sheet
- SC/ST/OBC-(A/B) caste certificate issued by Sub Divisional Officer/DWO, Kolkata
- Marriage certificate or ID showing husband's name for married candidates
- Death certificate of husband for widows
- Court order for divorce in case of divorced candidates
