Age Limit
Maximum age is 41 years for Deputy General Manager, 38 years for Senior Manager, and 35 years for Manager posts.
Relaxation in age is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- J&K Domicile: 5 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years in addition to category relaxation
- RITES regular/contract employees: Additional 5 years

Selection Process
- Deputy General Manager post: Document scrutiny followed by interview (100% weightage).
- Senior Manager and Manager posts: Written test followed by document scrutiny and interview.
- Written test is 2.5 hours, 125 multiple-choice questions with no negative marking.
- Different qualifying marks based on category.
- Interview evaluates technical & professional proficiency as well as personality and communication skills.
