About the Notification

The State Bank of India (SBI), through its Central Recruitment & Promotion Department at Corporate Centre Mumbai, invites online applications for the recruitment of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) positions under a special backlog drive reserved for SC/ST/OBC categories for the year 2026. Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification as on 31.12.2026. Final year students can apply provisionally subject to passing by the deadline. Proficiency in local language at 10th or 12th standard exempts the language test.

Pay Scale

Rs. 24,050 - Rs. 64,480 with starting basic pay of Rs. 26,730 including two advance increments for graduates. Estimated gross monthly emoluments around Rs. 46,000 in metropolitan areas like Mumbai.

Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Exam: Objective test comprising English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning (100 marks in 1 hour).
  2. Main Exam: Tests on General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (200 marks in 2 hours 40 minutes).
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test for candidates without requisite local language study.
