About the Notification
The Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC), Bengaluru under ISRO invites online applications for direct recruitment of Scientist/Engineer 'SD' posts in multi-disciplinary domains including Bioinstrumentation, Biophysics, Medical Physics, Developmental Biology, Biotechnology, Cellular & Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering and related areas. The posts are temporary but likely to continue. The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India as per the organization's requirements. Applications are to be submitted online between 10th August 2026 and 30th August 2026. Selection will be through interview based on merit and qualifications.

Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules for serving Central Government employees, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen.
Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from recognized university/institute.
- ME/M.Tech/MS/PhD/MSc with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA as essential qualification.
- Candidates from foreign universities should produce equivalence certificate from AIU, New Delhi.
Application Fee
No application fee for the posts of Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’.
Pay Scale
Pay Level: Level 11 in the Pay Matrix; Basic Pay approx. Rs. 67,700 - Rs. 2,08,700 per month plus admissible allowances.
Selection Process
- Online applications will be screened and shortlisted based on eligibility.
- Final selection will be solely based on performance in the personal interview.

Required Documents
- Recent color passport size photograph (less than 6 months old).
- Signature image in jpg/jpeg format.
- Essential qualification certificates in PDF format.
- Valid PwBD certificate, Ex-Serviceman discharge certificate, or NOC if applicable.
