About the Notification
Kolkata City NUHM Society has released a recruitment notification for the post of Staff Nurse on a purely contractual basis for the Urban Primary Health Centres of Kolkata City. There are total 205 vacancies distributed in different reservation categories. Eligible candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in essential qualification and interview.

Age Limit
The upper age limit is 40 years as on 01.05.2021. Age relaxation will be provided for reserved categories as per government norms.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have completed GNM training course from an institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council / West Bengal Nursing Council or should have completed B.Sc Nursing course. Candidates must be registered under West Bengal Nursing Council and should have proficiency in Bengali.

Pay Scale
Monthly remuneration is ₹25,000/- (twenty-five thousand rupees only).
Selection Process
- Marks obtained in basic qualification (maximum 40 marks)
- Walk-in interview (60 marks)
- Total 100 marks, based on which panel will be prepared.
How to Apply
- Submit sealed envelope addressed to "Chief Municipal Health Officer/Secretary, Kolkata City NUHM Society".
- Submission in drop box placed at Room No 254, 2nd Floor, CMO Building on 12th and 13th May 2021 between 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM only.
- No application will be accepted by post, courier or after the last date.
- Incomplete or improperly filled applications will be rejected.
- Photocopies of documents self-attested along with original application form duly signed must be submitted. Originals will be verified at the time of interview.
Required Documents
- Proof of age certificate (Madhyamik or equivalent)
- All mark sheets and pass certificates of GNM / B.Sc Nursing including internship wherever applicable
- West Bengal Nursing Council Registration Certificate (Provisional certificate may be allowed)
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Photo identity and address proof (Passport/Voter ID/Aadhaar)
- Passport size photo pasted on the original application with signature
