Walk-in Interview for Consultant and Junior Research Fellow at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Kolkata

About the Notification

The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CCRAS), under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, Kolkata invites eligible candidates for walk-in interviews for two contractual posts under collaborative research projects: Consultant (Ayush disciplines) and Junior Research Fellow (Pharmacology). Candidates must hold the essential qualifications and have relevant research experience of at least 5 years.

Age Limit

Consultant: Not exceeding 64 years as on date of walk-in interview.

Junior Research Fellow: Not exceeding 35 years as on date of walk-in interview.

Age relaxation as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Educational Qualification

Consultant (Ayush disciplines): BAMS/BHMS/BSMS with minimum 5 years research experience or Postgraduate degree in Pharmacognosy/M.Pharm (Ay)/MS Natural Products/M.Sc Botany/Medicinal Plants/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with minimum 5 years research experience from a recognized university/institution.

Junior Research Fellow (Pharmacology): Postgraduate degree in M.Pharm/M.V.Sc/M.S (Pharm) in Pharmacology/Toxicology or MSc Life Science (Zoology/Biotechnology) from recognized university/institute. Experience in laboratory animal handling is desirable.

Pay Scale

Consultant: Consolidated Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000/- per month plus 30% HRA.

How to Apply

1. Interested candidates must submit the duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of age and educational certificates and two recent passport size photographs at the venue on the specified date.
2. Candidates must arrive at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, 4-CN Block, Sector-V, Bidhannagar, Kolkata-700091 by 10:00 AM for registration. Latecomers will not be permitted.
3. Original certificates must be brought for verification during the interview.
