About the Notification
Kolkata Municipal Corporation will conduct a walk-in interview on 17th March 2015 for contractual engagement of various Medical and Paramedical posts. The posts include Medical Officers (General and Specialist), O.T. Nurses, X-Ray Technicians, USG Technicians, ECG Technicians, OT Assistants, and Ward Boys. All interviews will be held on the same day at 10 AM at Institute of Urban Management, 36C Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-19.

Age Limits
The maximum age for Medical Officers (General and Specialist) is 37 years as of 01.01.2015.
Age relaxation up to 63 years for retired medical personnel of Armed Forces / Central & State Govt / Corporations etc.
For paramedical and other posts, minimum age is 18 years and maximum age varies between 40 to 45 years.
Educational Qualifications
- Medical Officer (General): MBBS degree; Postgraduate qualifications like D.P.H or M.D. (Community Medicine) preferred.
- Medical Officer (Specialists): Relevant postgraduate degree/diploma with 3 years’ experience.
- O.T. Nurse: General Nursing & Midwifery certificate and registration under West Bengal Nursing Council.
- Technicians and Assistants: Higher Secondary Passed with respective diploma or certificate courses.
- Ward Boy: Minimum Class VIII pass with relevant experience preferred.
