About the Notification
Kolkata Municipal Corporation invited walk-in interviews on 11 August 2015 for contractual recruitment of Medical Officers in various specialist positions and O.T. Nurses at Garden Reach Maternity Home. Candidates are required to possess the prescribed medical qualifications, experience, and age criteria as per the post details. Age Limit
For Medical Officers (Specialist G&O, Radiologist, Anaesthetist, Pediatrician) the maximum age is 37 years as on 01.01.2015. For retired medical personnel of Armed Forces, Central & State Govt., Corporations/Undertakings, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 63 years as on 01.01.2015.
For O.T. Nurse post, minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 45 years.
Educational Qualifications
- Medical Officer (Specialist G&O): MBBS from recognized university with postgraduate degree/diploma such as D.G.O., M.D./M.S. in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Minimum 3 years experience with expertise in performing surgery independently.
- Medical Officer (Specialist Radiologist cum Sonologist): MBBS from recognized university with postgraduate degree/diploma such as D.M.R.D./M.D. Radiodiagnosis. Minimum 3 years experience with expertise in Radiodiagnosis and Ultrasonography independently.
- Medical Officer (Specialist Anaesthetist): MBBS from recognized university with postgraduate degree/diploma such as D.A./M.D. Anaesthesia. Minimum 3 years experience with expertise in induction of Anaesthesia independently.
- Medical Officer (Specialist Pediatrician): MBBS from recognized university with postgraduate degree/diploma such as D.C.H./M.D. Pediatric Medicine. Minimum 3 years experience with expertise in SNCU management independently.
- O.T. Nurse: Passed General Nursing & Midwifery certificate from Nursing Training School recognized by West Bengal Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. Must be registered under West Bengal Nursing Council. Minimum 3 years experience as O.T. Nurse. Only female candidates eligible.
