About the Notification

The Goa State Biodiversity Board is conducting a walk-in interview for the post of Finance Controller on a contractual basis under the project 'Conservation of Biodiversity through Livelihood Intervention' (GoVan). The initial contract is until 31.10.2027 with possible extension subject to government approval.

Age Limit

Age should not exceed 45 years as of the date of walk-in interview. No separate age relaxations specified.

Educational Qualification

Graduate in Commerce with knowledge of government rules and accounting procedures. Fluency in written and spoken English and Konkani. Proficiency in Computer and Tally. Minimum 2 years experience in financial management and control preferably in biodiversity or environmental project management. Must be a resident of Goa for at least 15 years with a valid certificate. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable. Good communication and computer skills required.

How to Apply

1. Attend the walk-in interview on 29 September 2026 between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM at the office of Member Secretary, GSBB, Saligao, Bardez, Goa.
2. Bring original and self-attested photocopies of educational certificates, birth certificate, valid 15-year residency certificate of Goa, valid employment card, bio-data, and one recent passport size photograph.
3. Self-attested copies should bear the statement "This certificate is true copy of the original."
4. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
