Age Limit

Age limits for various posts are as follows:

Project Research Scientist-III: Maximum 45 years
Project Research Scientist-II: Maximum 40 years
Administrative Officer: Maximum 50 years
Field Officer: Maximum 35 years

Age relaxation as per government rules is applicable.

Educational Qualifications

Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical): Post Graduate degree (including integrated PG) with 5 years post qualification experience or PhD with 2 years experience. For Engineering/IT/CS - Four year graduate degree with 5 years' experience or PG with 3 years or PhD.
Desirable: Post-doctoral research/teaching experience and computer/data management skills.

Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical): PG degree and 3 years experience or PhD. Engineering/IT/CS four year graduate degree.
Desirable: PhD in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with 2 years R&D/teaching experience.

Administrative Officer: Bachelor's degree with 3 years govt/PSU/autonomous body experience and MS Office knowledge. Or retired Section Officer/Under Secretary to Govt of India.

Field Officer: Graduate in Public Health with 3 years experience or Master's in Public Health or Pharm D.

Selection Procedure

Only eligible candidates will appear for walk-in interview/written test.
If a written test is conducted, passing marks are 35% for SC/ST and 40% for UR/OBC/EWS.
Top candidates from written test will be called for interview.
Final merit list shall be based on written test and interview marks; if no written test, then only interview.
