About the Notification
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna (AIIMS Patna) invites applications for the post of Senior Resident (Adhoc) through walk-in interview for a contractual period of 89 days or until the regular incumbent joins. Age Limit
Maximum age for application is 45 years as on 31.08.2026. Age relaxations are as per Government of India rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) get relaxation of 10 years for General, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST categories.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have the prescribed postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB/MS) in the concerned specialty from a recognized university/institute. Registration with National Medical Commission or respective State Medical Council is mandatory.

Pay Scale
Senior Residents will be paid as per 7th CPC Level-11 of the pay matrix (pre-revised PB-3) with entry pay of ₹67,700 per month plus NPA and other admissible allowances as per Government of India rules.
Selection Procedure

- In case of tie, older candidate will be preferred
- Other selection procedures as decided by Competent Authority

- No candidate will be allowed after the reporting time.
