The CCC admit card is issued by NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology) for the Course on Computer Concepts exam and is downloaded from the NIELIT student portal, student.nielit.gov.in. You log in with your application or registration number and date of birth. In 2026 NIELIT moved CCC and its other digital literacy exams from monthly to quarterly cycles, and admit cards are now released in parts a few days before each phase of a cycle. This page explains how to download the NIELIT CCC admit card, what to check on it, the exam pattern and what to do if your admit card is not available.

How to download the NIELIT CCC admit card

  1. Open the NIELIT student portal at student.nielit.gov.in.
  2. Click the Download Admit Card link.
  3. Choose whether to search by application number or registration number.
  4. Select the exam (CCC) and the exam cycle shown on the page.
  5. Enter your number, date of birth and the captcha, then submit.
  6. Check every detail, then download the admit card as a PDF and print it.

NIELIT's important notifications page lists each release, for example the separate admit card notices for Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4 of the September 2026 cycle. If your batch is not out yet, wait for the next part rather than re-registering.

Details to check on your CCC admit card

  • Your name, father's or guardian's name and photograph
  • Registration or roll number
  • Exam date, batch and reporting time
  • Exam centre code and full address
  • Instructions printed for the centre

NIELIT has said that requests to change the exam centre or reschedule the exam are not accepted, so check the centre address as soon as the card is released and plan your travel.

CCC admit card not showing? Common reasons

  • Your phase has not been released. Cards come out in parts. Check the notifications list for your exam date.
  • Your application was cancelled. In September 2026 NIELIT published lists of candidates whose applications were cancelled for an invalid photograph, or for using a guardian's name without the required affidavit. Check these lists on the student portal.
  • Wrong login details. Use the number on your registration confirmation and the date of birth exactly as entered in the form.
  • Payment not confirmed. An application without a successful fee payment does not get an admit card.

If none of these apply, contact NIELIT through the contact details given on the student portal, quoting your registration number.

What to carry on exam day

  • The printed CCC admit card. You will not be allowed in without it.
  • One original photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, passport or driving licence.

Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches and study material are not allowed in the exam hall. Reach the centre before the reporting time printed on the admit card.

CCC result and certificate

NIELIT normally declares results about 15 days after an exam cycle ends. Successful candidates receive a digitally signed e-certificate, which can be downloaded from the NIELIT website. Many State and Central Government recruitments, especially for clerical, data entry and typist posts, ask for CCC or an equivalent computer certificate, so keep a printed and a digital copy.

Why CCC matters for government jobs

Recruitment notices from bodies such as the UPSSSC and other State selection boards often list CCC as an essential or desirable qualification for posts that involve computer work. Check the exact requirement in the notification of the post you are applying for. If the job also has a skill test, practise with the free typing test, and use the exam photo and signature resizer for application uploads.
