On this page

Kerala Cashew Board Ltd. (KCB) recruited for a contract Manager (Procurement & Marketing) post, with one vacancy, through the Centre for Management Development (CMD) website, cmd.kerala.gov.in. The official notice does not mention an Accounts Officer post. As of 5 October 2026, the extended application deadline (22 July 2026, 5:00 pm) has passed.

Which post did KCB advertise?

Notification No. KCB/CMD/001/2026, dated 8 July 2026, invited applications for two posts, both on contract. A later addendum (No. KCB/CMD/002/2026, dated 16 July 2026) changed that list:

  • Manager (Procurement & Marketing): one vacancy, still open for applications under the addendum.
  • Business Development Executive (BDE): one vacancy, but the addendum puts this recruitment "in abeyance until further instructions" from KCB.
  • Accounts Officer: not in the notification or the addendum supplied. This page cannot confirm any Accounts Officer vacancy at KCB.

Is this a permanent job or an apprenticeship?

Neither. The notice describes both posts as contract appointments with a contract period of 11 months, "likely to be renewed based on performance". It is not an apprenticeship, and the notice does not offer a permanent post. Pay is consolidated, so treat it as a fixed-term engagement.

  2. Keep a valid personal email ID and mobile number active until the recruitment ends. Call-letter intimations may go to the registered email.
  3. Upload an updated CV, a passport-size photograph taken within six months, a signature, and copies of certificates proving qualification and experience.
  4. Follow the file rules: photograph and signature in JPEG (photograph under 200 kB, signature under 50 kB); CV and certificates in JPEG or PDF, each under 3 MB.
  5. After submitting, look for a confirmation message or email and note any application reference number.

Experience proof

Only experience gained after passing the required qualification counts. Appointment letters, salary certificates and pay slips are not accepted in place of an experience certificate. For current employment, an affidavit giving employer, designation, period, nature of job and responsibilities may be uploaded. Equivalent qualifications need an equivalency certificate from the competent authority.

Selection process and fee

Applications are first scrutinised, and a list of eligible candidates is prepared. Selection is mainly through an interview of shortlisted candidates. The notice also allows additional stages, such as a written test, group discussion or skill test, if needed. Entry to any stage is provisional, and discrepancies found in document checks lead to rejection.

The notice supplied does not state an application fee, so none can be confirmed here. It also does not give a job location, so this page does not assume one.

Help desk

For problems with the online form, the notice lists the helpdesk number 0471 2320101 (extensions 237 and 250), available 10 am to 5:30 pm on working days, Monday to Friday.
