Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Full-time Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks
• Full-time two-year Postgraduate degree or PG Diploma (with 60% marks) in Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising & Communication, Public Relations, or a combination of these subjects
• For SC/ST/PwBD candidates in reserved vacancies: minimum 55% marks in both degrees

Age Limit:

• Maximum 29 years as on 05 October 2026 for UR/EWS
• Age relaxations: OBC +3 years, SC/ST +5 years, PwBD +10 years, Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India rules

Application Fees

Payment modes include online via net banking, debit/credit card or offline via SBI collect using the generated pay-in slip.

Selection Process

• Screening of applications based on eligibility and documents
• Online written test comprising Subject Knowledge Test (SKT) and Executive Aptitude Test (EAT); candidates must qualify each separately
• Personal interview with 15% weightage (written test weightage 85%)
• Document verification
• Medical examination as per NTPC standards

Salary

Grade E0 on IDA scale with basic pay ₹30,000–1,20,000. Estimated first-year take-home may range around ₹45,000–60,000 depending on station and other allowances.
