Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m) in English on computer.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operation is essential.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 30 years as on 08.03.2025
  • Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled/Ex-Servicemen/Freedom Fighter dependents.
  • No upper age limit for departmental candidates of Supreme Court Registry.

Fee payment is accepted online only through UCO Bank payment gateway. Non-refundable.

Selection Procedure

The selection involves multiple stages:

  • Objective Type Written Test: 100 questions including General English, General Aptitude, and General Knowledge (2 hours).
  • Objective Type Computer Knowledge Test: 25 questions.
  • Typing Test: 10 minutes at 35 w.p.m. with up to 3% errors allowed.
  • Descriptive Test: English comprehension, precis writing, and essay writing (2 hours).
  • Interview: Candidates qualifying the tests will be interviewed. The ratio of candidates to vacancies for interview is 3:1.

Final empanelment and appointment will depend on merit and availability of vacancies. Placement in the panel does not guarantee appointment.

Tests will be conducted across 128 centres in 28 states and union territories including major cities of Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam, West Bengal, Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and more. Additional Instructions

  • Upload scanned photograph, signature, and required documents at application submission.
  • Copies of eligibility documents will be verified at the interview stage.
  • Each candidate can submit only one application; last submitted application will be considered.
  • No fee refund under any circumstances.
  • Candidates working in government/PSU must produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) during interview.
  • No travel allowance for attending tests or interviews.
  • Admit cards will be available online for download; no postal dispatch.
