The two instructions to reconcile

The detailed CEN updated on 30 January 2026, section 16.5.1, specifies a JPG/JPEG signature of 30–49 KB, minimum 140 × 60 pixels and minimum scan resolution of 100 DPI. The CEN 09/2025 FAQ gives a 30–70 KB signature range and separate uploaded-photograph guidance. Confirm which instructions and capture process govern the relevant application stage.

Distinct guide angle

Explain why an NTPC preset cannot automatically certify a Group D file. Separate the photograph process from signature preparation, then show how to preserve the complete running-handwriting signature when cropping. Confirm live capture against the applicable full notice and amendments before describing it as the current requirement.

Release checklist

Read the complete controlling passages; inspect later corrigenda; record exact source pages and verification date in the shared registry. Add practical crop, download and portal-preview steps only after the requirements table is settled. Until then, leave this article private and its preset unavailable.
