SBI Clerk Photo & Signature Size: Four-File Preparation Guide

Organise four files before opening the form

The Junior Associates 2026 advertisement sets out the scanning requirements in Annexure II, on PDF page 9. The source was checked on 2 October 2026. Keep the original files and give each exported image a name that identifies its document.

A useful final check is to open all four finished files in turn and say which application field each belongs to. This catches a different class of mistake from compression: a clear signature in the photograph field still contains the wrong document.

Photograph and signature workflow

1. Choose SBI Clerk / Junior Associate and select the photograph document.
2. Choose the original image, rotate if needed and set the crop. The preferred photograph dimensions are 200 × 230 pixels.
3. Set the output width. Height stays proportional to the crop. Prepare and review the download.
4. Select Signature, choose its original scan and repeat. The signature has its own 10–20 KB limit and preferred 140 × 60 pixel dimensions.

For the signature, follow the notice’s black-ink and white-paper instruction; a capital-letter signature is not acceptable. Crop close enough to remove wasted space but leave the complete mark visible.

The declaration needs its own review

Write the declaration required by this Junior Associates advertisement, including the personal details it requests. Use the notice’s wording and writing instructions. Do not substitute a declaration prepared for an IBPS or SBI PO application.

Select the declaration preset, whose preferred dimensions are 800 × 400 pixels, only after checking the full text in the original. After compression, read it again at normal size. The software checks the file, not the accuracy of your declaration.

Thumb impressions, DPI and camera capture

The impression preset shows the preferred 240 × 240 pixel dimensions. Inspect ridge visibility yourself, and use the official alternative instructions if the specified thumb impression cannot be provided. A byte-size pass cannot judge the quality of an impression.

The notice’s scanner resolution and centimetre measurements are separate from pixel and byte checks. This tool does not certify DPI. It also cannot replace the live photograph: follow the camera process in SBI’s official application portal.

If the portal rejects the prepared file

First check the selected field and file type. Then compare the byte limits and manual instructions with the current notice. If compression cannot reach the maximum, crop spare margins or reduce width cautiously. If the image is below the minimum, use a larger, clearer original. Never sacrifice readable text simply to make a smaller download.
