RRB Guwahati zone and division list
Northeast Frontier Railway has five divisions: Lumding, Tinsukia and Rangiya in Assam, and Katihar and Alipurduar, which cover parts of Bihar and north Bengal. NFR runs across Assam, the other north-eastern states, north Bengal and parts of Bihar. Several RRBs recruit in this region, including RRB Guwahati, RRB Siliguri, RRB Malda and RRB Muzaffarpur, so the RRB-wise vacancy table in each CEN is the only reliable guide to which board fills which division's posts.
Exams conducted by RRB Guwahati
RRB Guwahati takes part in the centralised notices in which NFR has vacancies. Group D (Level 1) and ALP notices usually carry a large number of NFR posts, which is why searches such as "RRB Guwahati Group D" and "RRB Guwahati NTPC" are common.

RRB Guwahati admit card and city intimation slip
About 10 days before a computer-based test, RRBs open the exam city intimation slip, and about four days before, the e-call letter (admit card). Both are linked from rrbguwahati.gov.in and need your registration number and date of birth or password. Exam centres may be in another state if seats are short in the North East, so check the city slip early and plan travel. Carry the printed e-call letter and an original photo ID.

Each RRB publishes its own result, so a Group D result for RRB Guwahati will not appear on another board's site. For other recruiting bodies, use our list of official result websites.
Stay safe from fake RRB websites
RRBs warn candidates to use only official RRB websites, to ignore RRB notices circulated on social media and to report touts who promise railway jobs. Official RRB websites end in .gov.in, apart from RRB Jammu-Srinagar, which uses .nic.in. Selection depends only on performance in the published stages.
